No broken tabs. Fits 1980, 1981 Honda GL1100i I have access to technical knowledge for any questions concerns you might have. Removed from a 1981 Honda Gl 1100 I Goldwing interstate has lots of little paint chips and scratches all over from road debris, nothing major, the side compartments where drilled out for speakers. No speakers in it as far as I know.
